"Not Alone" portrays the power of our Women, and their voices that must be heard. With awareness and momentum of the MIWW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women) movement, she raises her fist in solidarity with those stolen, promising Justice. Her braid connects to Unci Maka, showing our need to be connected to all.
Prayer ties and flags convey the power of prayer needed on this journey of healing for Families and Communities, with images above representing our Missing and our Ancestors. Two dresses symbolize the Missing, who are NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN.
